ABOUT

Hello, my name is Courtney Caron. I am 22 years of age and I am an artist. I work in several different mediums such as charcoal, watercolors, fibers, ceramics, graphic design, painting, photography, and print making. I started doing art when I was in 7th grade and have had a passion for it ever since. I also have a passion for animals and I have worked at a veterinary hospital as a vet assistant for 4 years now. Some of my hobbies include singing, drawing, being outdoors, and spending time with friends and family. I am a hard worker and aim to please. I am very outgoing and willing to work with you on any sort of project even if it is new to me. I work well with others and take criticism well.

I was born in Laurium Michigan but moved. I have lived in Tuscan, Phenix, Atlanta , Wichita, and currently in Kansas City . Growing up I was very active in sports such as hockey, soccer, and golf. I also worked on a farm for several years taking care of all of the animals, riding horses, and teaching kids how to ride horses. As a child I was always very involved in extra curricular activities. Things I did while growing up throughout middle school and high school were choir, wrestling, basketball and football manager, played soccer for the school as well as indoor and outdoor soccer for club teams and did two mission trips with the church. I have always loved being active and outgoing.

I have a degree in Graphic Design from MCC-Penn Valley. I currently work Eagle Animal Hospital mostly at the main Riverside location but occasionally you can find me at the Tiffany Springs and Liberty locations. In high school I participated in the Park Hill Internship Program where I was able to shadow in the veterinary field. I once thought that I wanted to become an Agricultural Veterinarian, but changed my mind after starting college. Although I still work at a veterinary office, and really enjoy it, my intentions in school follow my future plan make art and do Graphic Design. Art has always been a huge part of my life and I have always taken art classes as my electives while in middle school, high school, and now in college. I hope to one day move out of Kansas City and live in a place much warmer.
